"Almighty Aranhod"
This is a sneak peak of my current illustration i am working on.
Goddess of fertility, rebirth & the weaving of cosmic time & fate. The last aspect of her nature is contained within her name which means "Silver Wheel" suggesting her importance in the cycles of life. Other common spellings of her name are Arianrod & Arianrhod.

My Mango & Lychee Tree
Angus & Julia Stone wished they had a Mango Tree in their backyard as mentioned in their hit single 'Mango Tree'. Well sorry to break their dream, but i would like to show off my Mango aaand Lychee tree in my backyard.
Summer is in & these exotic fruits are in the midst of sprouting maturely awaiting to be devoured by many who appreciates great taste. This is the shear size of my mango's & they aren't even ripe yet so i can't wait to be the first to try these giant babies. My father planted these trees 8 years ago & this is the quality it produced... (i suspiciously think he added some growth hormones in them as well). Either way.. my mango & lychees are almost ready to be tasted by all. These are donated to my great friends, neighbors & sometimes sold to the local deli supermarket.
Part i love about summer in my own backyard... i can set up my canvas painting away in the summers afternoon while listening to great tunes & sipping on a beverage. Sounds corny, but this is truly Where the Art is at the moment. Peace!!!

Summer of 2011
This is why i still love P-Town. Summer on the West Coast is absolutely amazing & this is my favorite time of the the day where the 'golden sun' is bound to set. Everything around me i see is gold.. the air is hot.. the glistening rays tingle my face as the noise around is quite serene. Either i'm smoking too much crack or maybe Perth is just a beautiful chilled out place to be in Summer of 2011.

'SOLO EXHIBITION' in the works
I've always talked about showcasing my drawings, but never seemed to do it. Maybe i wasn't confident enough for the public to see my art or maybe i didn't have enough body of work that is good enough to be displayed. I guess there are many factors as in why my paintings aren't out there by now, but if i can honestly say... it is because i haven't yet discovered my trademark style. See... all my favorite artists who i idolize have their own unique styles. From Sam Flores female characters with the closed eyes & overgrown hands to Munk One's illustrated zombie like paintings. Or like Sylvia Ji's women of beauty with feminine tattoo markings to David Choe's raw rugged but delicate paintings. Each of em are significantly different to each others work & posses a certain unique trademark that symbolizes their own traits.
After quitting my graphic designing career, i turned to what i have always done best. Illustrating & Painting. Although through my years of designing.. i still did a few creative artwork then & there, but i still need to hone my skills in order to gain my creative brain back. I have been developing my style... & it wasn't something came by force rather it came to me naturally. I knew it's my trademark because it was something i feel really comfortable, relaxed & truly creative.
Today my skills are sharpened & it is on the rise. I am proud to announce that i am ready to show my work after a year back on track doing what i was doing since i was 4.
