I've always talked about showcasing my drawings, but never seemed to do it. Maybe i wasn't confident enough for the public to see my art or maybe i didn't have enough body of work that is good enough to be displayed. I guess there are many factors as in why my paintings aren't out there by now, but if i can honestly say... it is because i haven't yet discovered my trademark style. See... all my favorite artists who i idolize have their own unique styles. From Sam Flores female characters with the closed eyes & overgrown hands to Munk One's illustrated zombie like paintings. Or like Sylvia Ji's women of beauty with feminine tattoo markings to David Choe's raw rugged but delicate paintings. Each of em are significantly different to each others work & posses a certain unique trademark that symbolizes their own traits.
After quitting my graphic designing career, i turned to what i have always done best. Illustrating & Painting. Although through my years of designing.. i still did a few creative artwork then & there, but i still need to hone my skills in order to gain my creative brain back. I have been developing my style... & it wasn't something came by force rather it came to me naturally. I knew it's my trademark because it was something i feel really comfortable, relaxed & truly creative.
Today my skills are sharpened & it is on the rise. I am proud to announce that i am ready to show my work after a year back on track doing what i was doing since i was 4.
